Strengthening Your Self-Generative Muscle, Part 1 (Neil)

In this two-part conversation we'll develop a deeper understanding of what 'self-generation' is, the role that plays within the Simply Music curriculum, and the importance of developing self-generation. We'll also explore the early steps and approaches that can be used to begin developing this capability within ourselves and our students.

Core Conversation Hot Seat (Neil)

Having personally coached music educators for nearly 35 years, I have found that our effectiveness in dealing with the vast array of problems that arise, when managing students and parents, relates directly to our understanding of, and ability to manage, the three Core Conversations that are fundamental to Simply Music. In this interactive session, we'll clarify what the Core Conversations are, explore their role, and focus on developing your ability to both articulate and manage these conversations.

Reading Rhythm is the first of three reading programs in Simply Music. Get familiar with the expectations, projects, and strategies presented in the Reading Rhythm Curriculum and prepare to teach with confidence.

In this session, we'll explore the increasingly important role that creativity will play in the future. We'll gain a deeper understanding of the role that Simply Music can play in developing creative capability, and we’ll give you a deeper insight into why it's essential that the developing of creative capability becomes a practical and conversational focal point with your students and families.
